Challenge
The rebranding of CRIT’s website aimed to reflect its role in technological innovation and collaborative research while making its specialized services clear and accessible to a professional audience. The inclusion of a reserved members’ area added complexity, requiring a design that catered to both external users and internal stakeholders.
The goal was to create a modern, intuitive interface that highlighted key services, supported networking opportunities, and reinforced CRIT’s authority as a trusted partner in innovation.
Approach
Starting from CRIT’s institutional blue, I developed a palette that conveys innovation, trust, and elegance. Abstract icons were created to visually represent their core services, with each service assigned a unique accent color to enhance distinction and clarity. For the subcategories within each service, additional abstract icons were designed, maintaining a cohesive and modern visual language.
The institutional font, Roboto, was used to preserve brand consistency, and the overall style was kept clean and contemporary.
The result is a site that effectively communicates CRIT’s offerings while addressing the needs of diverse user groups.
The UI Kit is designed to ensure consistency, scalability, and a great user experience across all CRIT Research digital products. It includes visual guidelines, reusable components, and tools for developers and designers, enabling a collaborative and innovative approach to design.
